We collect as little as we can. We have no user accounts, no comments and no newsletter on this site.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves. It counts page views, referrers and clicks on our buttons without setting cookies. We do not use advertising trackers.
Age confirmation
When you confirm you are 18 or older, your browser stores that choice in local storage and in a first-party cookie named uvl_age_ok_v1 for up to one year, so you are not asked again.
Prompt Lab
- The director prompt is built in your browser. Nothing is sent to us when you type.
- If you click “Generate start frame”, your description and settings are sent to our server and then to our image provider, Runware, to create one image. We do not store the description or the image. The image is shown from Runware’s servers.
- To limit abuse, our server keeps short-lived counters tied to your IP address. They expire within 24 hours.
Server and network
Like any website, our servers receive your IP address, browser type and the page you request. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects and caches the site. We use this data to keep the site secure and working.
Links to other sites
When you follow a link to a vendor, that vendor’s own privacy policy applies. Our /go/ links tell the vendor’s affiliate network which of our pages sent you, so we can see which pages help readers.
